I wanted to share with you this picture of the meeting we had at IE Business School last September 15th with Antonio Catalán, President of AC Hotels (AC Hotels by Marriott), and Mariano Perez Claver, President of NH Hotels.
Hotel low prices in Spain, high costs and the urgent need of having a more flexible labour market to be more competitive were the main problems they both pointed out for the hospitality sector in Spain. Hotel chains can develop a strategy to do something regarding the market and the cost, but it is the Government the only one who can facilitate a more flexible labour market in Spain.
